F35 Software Engineer - 3D Corrosion Monitoring
BAE Systems' F35 Lightning II program has an opportunity for an experienced software engineer to develop and deliver a 3D Corrosion Monitoring capability. This system will be integrated and hosted within other F35 software systems.
Job duties inlude software requirements analysis, design/mechanization, coding, and unit test of Off-Board PHM applications for the JSF Autonomic Logistics Information Systems Integrated Product Team. The successful candidate will work closely with Air Vehicle Prognostics and Health management (AVPHM) engineers to establish the business and processing Corrosion 3D vision Concept of Operations.
Conducts multi-disciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, maturation and utilization of electronic data processing systems for software. Determines and updates computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Bachelors degree + 8 years related experience in Software development and testing. Experience with C++, UML, JAVA, HTML related to software development. Eligibility for a secret security clearance 3D modeling
