The Integrated Product Team (IPT) leader will have the responsibility for leading/guiding multiple tasks that encompass three bearing swivel duct liner part life cycle from design improvement concepts through service and support.
A successful IPT leader maximizes metrics on cost, weight, quality, and technical support of fielded products through component improvement program and cost reduction tasks.
Prime responsibilities include the coordination effort with the F135 Partner Program under Rolls-Royce and is expected to interface with the Rolls-Royce Swivel Duct IPT equivalent. Additional coordination effort required for CANMC manufacturing operations and product prime supplier.
Ensure part team reaches decisions necessary to achieve overall component goals and participates with other CIPT members for progress reporting, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and execution of program decisions.
Develop & manage high confidence budget/schedule plans for tasks requested from the Program and ensure the team executes to meet commitments.
Address field issues of 3BSD Liner hardware investigations and establishing limits for the Tech Order. Address Flight safety issues associated with IPT's responsible hardware
Develop proposals for the Military Customer & Program for redesigns for low cost, improved durability, etc.
Develop validation plans for redesigns and manage hardware deliveries and assembly for ground test engine validation testing.
Resolve issues at Exhaust module assembly in the CANMC JSF Assembly Build Area, Development Test, Flight Test.
Assist the Part Family with developing Outsourcing packages including Statement of Work and coordinate with vendor for maximum results.
Manage IPT budget and schedule in accordance with an Earned Value Management System process.
Candidate must have a US DOD secret clearance or possess ability to obtain one.

Minimum of 7+ years related experience is required. Experience with engineering changes, working with IPTs or other cross functional teams, leadership, etc. is preferred. Candidate who has used some portion of the Earned Value Management System tool is preferred.
