Environmental Specialist
The Environmental Specialist is responsible for all plant environmental reporting based on local, state, federal and corporate requirements including ISO 14001 compliance, auditing and reporting. Lead/participate in incident commander plant process. Lead WCM environmental pillar.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree - Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science preferred; may consider related fields with Environmental experience
• 3 -5 years of experience required in environmental compliance including but not restricted to EPA, OEPA & corporate requirements for air, water, wastewater, hazardous waste and energy conservation
• Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment with UAW employees is desirable
• Negotiation and leadership skills needed
• MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word skills needed
