Job Responsibility:Reviews and enforces environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards for the operation. Implements practices and procedures to assure compliance to all corporate, federal, state and local regulations. Audit facility to ensure compliance. Organizes, monitors and conducts training requirements for EHS. Confers with regulatory and oversight agencies to interpret, implement and monitor standards. Coordinates internal activities with other departments (Quality, Purchasing, OPS) to address compliance and opportunities for improvement. Prepare required Local, County, State and Federal Environmental agency reports and permit revisions to sustain total compliance. Maintain safety, health and environmental records. Responsible for performing job duties in a manner consistent with established L-3 Ethics Standards. Responsible for working a manner consistent with established safety rules and regulations and the use and maintenance of required personal protective equipment; including, but not limited to safety glasses, etc. Manage the OSHA 300 injury/illness reporting log and perform accident investigation and makes recommendations to avoid similar accidents in the future. Performs job duties in accordance with approved procedures established in support of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with some specialized training on FL regulations - A minimum range of 5 years experience managing safety, health and environmental programs in an ISO certified manufacturing environment - Knowledge of regulatory standards regarding environmental, occupational safety and health - Computer proficiency in Microsoft office application products - Excellent communications, interpersonal and organization skills.
