Position Summary
Troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, designs, installs and maintains equipment involved in the aircraftcomponent manufacturing and repair process

§ Supports design, assembly and operational testing of research and development test benches and equipment § Assembles complex test hardware with an understanding to the form, fit and function of the devices being tested § Interacts with designers and test engineers and operationsinternally and with suppliers and customers § Support operations in repair of aircraft components and accessories in meeting customer requirements and schedules § Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements :
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
§ Associates degree in Engineering or Science minimum § 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment § Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and operations including the ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams § FAA airframe and power plant mechanic license and Avionics experience a plus § Design lab experience and component level troubleshooting § Ability to create and work from electrical/mechanical drawing and schematics § Modern computer skills or enhanced skills associated with Excel, Word and general documentation § Solid Works or Auto CAD a plus/advantage § Understanding of DC&AC signals § Able to adjust and calibrate instrumentation channels, establish alarm limits, monitor the limits during testing § High level of attention to details for assembly of test equipment, including measurements with micrometers, protractor and tape measures where large distances still require high level of accuracy § Understand basic electrical connector pinning and strain gage type instrumentation § Ability to read and interpret drawings both in hard copy and in electronic form
