Summary of Job:
Supports the Engineering staff with prototyping, testing, and documentation tasks associated with ongoing product development, manufacturing, or quailty projects.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists with prototyping and fabrication of products for testing - Plans, preps, and conducts test events and instrumentation operation - Documents results of tasking per design control guidance - Participates as a member of the design and development team - Supports security and SHE goals of department - Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- One (1) to two (2) years experience machine shop or assembly work experience
Required Education:
- High School degree or GED equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with conventionl machining and fabrication processes - Must have basic computer skils (Microsoft Office) - Familiarity with Safariland products and assembly processes, operation of instrumetatnion and data collection equipment a plus - CAD operation skills - Must have strong attention to detail - Ability to collect and report on all data collected - Strong communication skills
