Cold Section Engineering is seeking several highly motivated candidates to work in the areas of design, analytical or structural engineering. This is an opportunity to work on compressors, composites, heat transfer & fluid dynamics, externals, gear boxes, bearing and seals and more for both our Military and Commercial engine programs.
Provide design, analytical or structural engineering support on 2-3 engineering tasks including management of the task, execution of the engineering activities, creating technical reports and providing recommendations to the team. Provide design or analytical support from preliminary design phase through detailed design, development, certification, and manufacturing; performing finite element analysis for stress, vibration, mission fatigue life prediction and optimization coordinating with others in advancing technology and process improvements.
This is an intern position; May/June to August 2012 and is located in East Hartford, CT.
