Posting ID: IS/098714 This job is eligible for theRefer a Friendprogram. Description: Quality Engineer for the F-35 Program (location: Turkey). This position will be responsible for: Interfacing with TAI's quality team and providing assistance to ensure F-35 quality requirements are stood up and executed effectively; participating in TAI's performance and productivity improvement efforts; providing training and coordination necessary to establish TAI's root cause analysis, corrective action and process variability reduction processes; serving as the NGC Quality representative on the Material Review Board. The candidate must possess a strong background in Quality Systems and Quality Assurance including product inspection, first article inspection, quality engineering, process control, root cause analysis and corrective action. Candidate should be knowledgeable in the techniques, specifications and quality requirements for engineering, detail fabrication, assembly line and tool acceptance. An excellent knowledge of CATIA V5 and the ability to navigate Product Data Manager (PDM) is required and a strong background in composites is preferred. Candidate must have strong understanding of U.S Export Control Regulations. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS and 9+ years Quality Assurance related experience required. DOD Secret security classification required. Must be willing to relocate to Turkey with relocation and expatriate allowances provided. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of five years international defense business expertise with knowledge and understanding of Northrop Grumman production processes and the F-35 aircraft detail parts, assembly and fabrication methods; knowledge and experience with ITAR compliance and regulations. American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer and/or Certified Quality Auditor is a plus. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
