Job Description :
The Process Engineer will be responsible for support and improvement of key Gen8/9 Final Assembly process PONSIBILITIES:•Performs investigations and trials in manufacturing processes.•Sets up machines and devices to prepare investigations as indicated.•Conducts various measurements to obtain data for documentation of all development steps, including statistical evaluations.•Coordination of problem analysis and the development of action plans.•Makes improvements and/or modifications to stations.•Increases reliability and output of the assigned manufacturing operations.•Participates and/or leads in analysis of problems and trial results, and submits reports on findings.•Participates in and/or leads plans for investigative actions.•Acts as liaison between support groups (BhP, TEF, and QMM) and MOE.•Performs assignments as directed, establishes and maintains effective work relationship within the company, maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.•Identifies and resolves quality issues related to automated assembly technology.•Subject matter expert and support for automated assembly technology such as Staeubli robots, TS2000/CS2000, and automated control systems.•Mentors hourly skilled associates in proactive maintenance of assigned processes.•Support and perform PPAP activities related to assigned processes.
Job Requirements :
•BS in Engineering.•Controls engineering experience.•Knowledge in the test equipment and programs for assigned product and CS2000 technology.•Ability to read and define electric drawings, pneumatic and/or hydraulic plans.•Basic knowledge of technical statistical process control.•Good verbal and written communication skills. •Thorough understanding of BhP/TEF-based station controls and data analysis systems.•Thorough understanding and proven demonstration of problem solving skills.•Ability to prioritize workload and meet established timelines and targets.•Knowledge of procedures to be applied inside area of responsibility.•High flexibility in arranging work hours as necessary to accomplish goals.•Ability to consistently follow up on re-occurring events without any supervision.•Willingness/capability to learn new technology and process.
