Product Supply is responsible for production of all Novo Nordisk’s products and plays a vital role in the launch of new products. We have production sites in Denmark, the US, France, Brazil, China and Japan. You will enter a dynamic organisation striving for continuous improvements in a constantly changing and intensive learning environment. LEAN is our common way of working systematically with improvements.
Advance your LEAN and leadership skills
The Product Supply Graduate Programme will provide you with tasks, tools, training and feedback within LEAN and leadership aiming at strengthening your potential for a leadership position. During the programme you will work within production and support functions and get a solid knowledge of our value chain from sourcing to distribution of finished goods.
Scope of the programme
The Product Supply Graduate Programme is a 2-year journey consisting of three 8-month rotations. Two rotations will take place at our production site in Clayton, NC, USA and one rotation will take place at our headquarters in Denmark.
After successfully completing the programme, you will have the best conditions for embarking on your career at Novo Nordisk with a permanent position – perhaps as a 1st line manager or another leadership pipeline position.
Requirements:
To join the Product Supply Graduate Programme you must hold a Master degree in a technical field or an MBA with outstanding results, examples include Engineering, Natural Sciences, Supply Chain Management or a related field. You have an interest in production and leadership aspirations for the future. You can provide us with specific examples of experiences in handling a complex situation or task, taking the initiative to drive an improvement, getting others to follow a direction and learning from feedback. You speak English fluently, are mobile and preferably you will have worked for no more than 2 years since finishing your studies. You must be eligible to work in the United States and you must be able to obtain a valid US passport. Finally you must be able to travel to Denmark for the graduate assessment programme the week of March 19-21, 2013
Our production site in Clayton, North Carolina, USA
At site Clayton we manufacture human and modern insulin and pre-filled insulin delivery devices serving both the US and international markets. The facility employs over 550 employees in a continuous operation including Formulation, Aseptic Filling, Inspection, Assembly and Packaging. Support services include Production Support (Engineering/Project Management), Business Support, Standardization and Optimization, Quality and Human Resources.
