Requisition Number 36412BR Position Title Embedded Software Engineer, Associate Location of Position United States-Ohio-Mayfield Heights Business Group Architecture and Software Relocation Eligible Yes Position Type Full Time Position Summary Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, and C/C++ language (or other middle to high-level language) required.
Courses covering embedded real-time software engineering (requirements analysis, design, testing), data structures, algorithms, C/C++ language, technical writing, and mathematics desired. Knowledge of both the functional and the object oriented paradigms for analysis, design, and programming desired.
