Assist in scheduling, planning and tracking of software work products.
Develop software requirements from customer inputs.
Design, develop, debug and formally test embedded DSP software to DO-178B Level A software development standards or equivalent military standards.
Lead and participate in design reviews and software inspections.
Develop embedded operating system software for DSPs using C-Language, Ada and assembly.
Perform formal low level and high level tests on the software and integrate the software with DSP hardware.
Support engine validation testing and field use.
Provide complete documentation of requirements, design and code.
US citizenship or permanent resident status in the US is required.

BS with a minimum of 4 years of embedded software development experience or MS with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Embedded system software engineer to develop digital signal processing software hosted on DSPs for prognostics and health management for aircraft engines. Applicant must have relevant educational background in digital signal processing, and experience with avionics system software development and verification. Programming experience in C language is required. Knowledge of Ada is a plus. Prior experience with DSPs is desirable.
