Electronic Controls Engineer

Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Candidate will provide technical guidance, leadership, and problem solving capability for aircraft power control systems, including generator controls, bus power controls, and power distribution controls for the purposes of technical maturation and preliminary engineering. Examples of job responsibilities would include technology surveillance/planning, marketing support, and execution of technology development plans in a multidisciplinary team environment. Candidate will have project level responsibility for internal technology development, as well as response to RFI/RFP and trade study requests from Business Development / Marketing. Candidate will mentor junior engineers and take personal responsibility for the execution and constant improvement of Standard Work. Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, in addition to all levels of management, is important.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: BSEE required / MSEE desired
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of working experience required
IND. EXP: Aerspace, Electronics, Defense, Space, Manufacturing, Government, Industrial, Communications equipment

At least 5 years design experience with 3+ years experience in the design of aircraft power control systems is desired. In depth understanding of aircraft control and communications system topologies and the ability to perform synthesis and analysis with an understanding of the related FAA/EASA certification requirements is highly required. The position requires a person with initiative, resourcefulness and teamwork traits, who must have good written and oral communication and the willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
