We're currently seeking an innovative Electro/Mechanical Technician to join our unique team of talented individuals as we continue our history of success. Under engineering supervision, the technician will be responsible for the design, build, and test of simple electronic devices to support research, internal development, and demonstrations. Tasks include simple packaging designs, preparing parts lists, ordering parts, construction or modification of electronic units, assemblies, and cables, test, and occasional installation in customer facilities for special test programs. The qualified candidate must have 3D CAD (SolidWorks required) proficiency that would support simple assembly and fixture design; prototype documentation skills, including preparing parts lists sufficient to support internal or outside small volume prototype builds; at least 3 years experience working in conjunction with outside sheet metal, machine shops, or assembly services; simple machine tool, electronic assembly (current J-STD solder certification required), general electronic testing and troubleshooting (RF test capability desired) skills sufficient to assemble demonstration quality, one-of-a-kind, operating electronic units.
