Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Technician I (Subs) Dept. R602 1st Shift Role: .Under close supervision, prepare and process components for manufacturing. Assemble and wire product using designated wire and tools with the aid of written, diagrammed, or verbal instructions. Responsibilities: .Utilize hand tools, power tools, and hardware to wire and assemble drives and subassemblies with the aid of supervision or trainers. .Research, understand, and implement ISO procedures. .Wire and assemble systems to customer specifications using basic knowledge of blueprints and wiring schematics. .Coordinate with Quality Assurance to maintain both internal and external (i.e. customer/agency) approvals. .Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and maintain proper build techniques within a specified area. .Display the capability to fabricate, metal, glastic, lexan, and various other materials. .Implement various wire sizes ranging from 22 gauge 37 conductor shielded to 1000 MCM 15KV shielded cable. .Lift and position products, operate overhead crane to assist with the lifting and control of moving/positioning of product under supervision. .Resolve discrepancies related to job with aid of coworkers and supervision. .Aid in basic plumbing duties within a designated area if required. .Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Requirements: .High School Diploma or equivilent. .Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent preferred. .Minimum of one (1) year mechanical, electrical, or related experience. .Math Skills required. .Possess the ability to climb to different heights and work at heights above waist level. .Ability to work and adapt in a team environment. .Good written and oral communication required. .Ability to work overtime and flexible hours. .Basic computer skills.
