Title: Electro-mechanical Engineering Technician Location: MD, Columbia Req Number: IIWE00016848 Position Description: Responsibilities: This role will be supporting engineering and production activities such as design, development, modification, fabrication, test and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and finished products. Applications may include electrical and mechanical systems and may also support process development activities. The technician will work from drawings, sketches, schematics, diagrams written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform prototyping, testing and process development functions. The position will require using manufacturing equipment, machine shop equipment (both manual and CNC) and electronic test equipment. This position will work on assignments requiring judgment and initiative in resolving issues or making recommendations and completed tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
