Electro-Mechanical Design Technician
Astronics Corp. / Luminescent Systems, Inc., a leader in aerospace lighting applications, has opportunities for team-oriented individuals to join our organization located in Lebanon , New Hampshire . Our Engineering Team designs and maintains products for commercial and military aircraft applications using a variety of lighting technologies. We are considering the addition of an Electrical Design Technician to provide clear, complete, accurate circuit layouts and product documentation. This position requires extensive use of design software (circuit layout - PADS), CAD (mechanical layout - AutoCad and SolidWorks), completion of Engineering Change Notices and interfacing with Manufacturing Requirement Planning System for the Bill of Materials and Routings. Reading comprehension and writing proficiency is a must. Using verbal or written instructions and established procedures, the Electrical Design Technician will analyze specific problem areas and will make adjustments or changes as necessary, referring major problems to supervision. Using circuit schematics, verbal and/or written instructions and established procedures, the Electrical-Mechanical Design Technician will layout circuits for new designs and revise existing circuit designs as necessary, referring major problems to supervision. In addition, the Electrical-Mechanical Design Technician is a liaison with Senior Designers, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Machine Shop, Suppliers and Purchasing as necessary. Performance of other work duties as required and directed.
