They are experiencing tremendous success and expansion and have an immediate need for an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join their Winnipeg team. The Electrical/Mechanical Technician is responsible for: The overhaul of equipment and preventative maintenance. Troubleshooting & diagnosing PLC's of equipment. The maintenance & repair any type of machinery and plant equipment. Upgrading skills on an ongoing basis. Working all shifts including nights & weekends. Following Good Manufacturing Practices, safe working habits & demonstrating commitment to Continuous Improvement. As the ideal candidate you have: Must be a Licensed Technician and or Journeyman Electrician. An Industrial mechanical and electrical background with PLC experience. An in-depth familiarity and proven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), welding, (ARC, TIG, MIG), electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic fields is preferred. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a electrician/millwright in an automated industry. The ability to multi-task and work in a highly organized fashion with attention to detail and accuracy.
