| Description: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - SENIOR Our client is a consulting engineering firm that provides public and private sector clients with a complete range of professional consulting services. The Role: The Company seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer immediately to join their team in Vancouver. Specifically, the Senior Electrical Engineer will: Work in projects for a variety of institutional, civic, commercial, and specialty building and electrical infrastructure projects. Review and direct the work of other engineers and designers in addition to performing project design duties. Assist with contract document preparation. The Candidate: Applicants for this role must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent training coupled with a minimum of 8 years experience designing building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications. Demonstration of experience in Health Care is essential. Experience creating tender document packages including drawings and specifications is required, as it experience with utility companies along with CSA and Building Code knowledge. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. The following would be assets: LEED Accreditation, experience with business development, RCDD Certification, AutoCAD and Revit MEP Knowledge, and Power System design. The individual chosen for this role will have the ability to work independently to deliver comprehensive designs and contracts, often on demanding time lines and exemplary interpersonal skills with team members and clients.
