Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer 1

The Huntsville Advanced Design and Prototype Solutions team is seeking an entry level electrical engineer. The team is responsible for Electrical / Electronic Hardware, Test Equipment, Avionics, Power Systems and Wire Harness Design. The engineer assists in development of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products. Assists in development of detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications. Typical duties and responsibilities for this position are in the areas of Embedded Processors engineering, Circuit design, Schematic capture / board layout and C++ programming. Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design. Gathers data for technical performance measures. Assists in providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Assists with trade studies and literature research to support future product designs. Works under close supervision.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have Schematic capture and circuit board layout experience?

Do you have experience in C++ programming?

Do you currently reside in the Huntsville, Alabama area or are you willing to relocate yourself to the Huntsville, Alabama area? There are no relocation benefits with this position.

Do you currently, or will you by May 31, 2012, meet the criteria described in the 'Typical Education / Experience' section of this requisition?

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Other Job related information
This position requires the ability to obtain Interim and/or Final Clearances (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required. Preferred: Knowledge of Freescale family of microprocessors, Circuit design, Analysis and Test.
