Job Description * TRW Automotive is the industry leader in Electric Park Brake systems. This innovative technology enhances vehicle safety, comfort, and functionality for automotive OEMs worldwide. The current rapid growth of EPB application in NA presents the opportunity for the right candidates to join a growing team within TRW. We are looking for aggressive, qualified engineers to join the dynamic and expanding team in NA leading the engineering development/validation of EPB.
Job Description * Work with Ford & TRW team to ensure engineering project requirements (performance, timing, cost, etc) are met. * Create and maintain overall engineering timing plan and open issues * Coordinate specific Systems FMEA reviews * Communicate & drive issue resolution for vehicle and component DVPR tests. * Coordinate and/or participate in key TRW vehicle development and/or customer demonstrations. * Participate in prototype sign-offs * Conduct regular Ford and internal status meetings. * Coordinate component updates on development and durability vehicles. * Support vehicle durability & development activities at OEM’s Proving Grounds * Support launch activities at TRW mfg facilities and OEM assembly plants * Participate as required in new business hunting activities
Required Skills * BSME or BSEE * Prior lead customer interface experience for product development required * Experience with automotive electro-mechanical systems and other chassis components (steering, suspension, etc). * Familiar with OEM component design and release system processes * Experience with brake design/development preferred
Required Experience * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Able to self manage tasks/deliverables * Min 2+ yrs experience
