EHS Disability Management Specialist 3\4

Works and/or advises with management, employees, medical, and vocational rehabilitation counselor to initiate and facilitate interactive discussions for medical restrictions and qualifications. Identifies essential job functions and reasonable accommodations, reassignment processes and potential outcomes. Works/Advises employees with complex matters related to working with third party administrators and Workers' Compensation Administrators to assist with detailed claims management. Works with third party administrators and Workers' Compensation Administrators to assist with detailed claims management. Performs analysis to ensure consistent placement decisions.

Facilitates employee's return to work. Documents, maintains and extracts employee case information and ensures data integrity and confidentiality. Provides early intervention to injured or ill employees to prevent time loss from work. Provides status reports to senior management and customers. Leads and advises team members on the application of early intervention to injured or ill employees. Provides consultation, education and training for disability management related processes.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Job related information
Strong communication skills are required for this position, as the successful candidate will work with people across all departments in all job levels. The successful candidate will have excellent teamwork abilities that show experience working with other organizations to solve problems and issues. Experience with OSHA record-keeping regulations is desired.
