E&P PROJECT MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate within the team and across the value chain to carry out basin analysis; produce play fairway and risk maps; construct ‘war maps’ to aid strategy development; provide direction for new venture activity.
Identify and make recommendations to evaluate, based on provided sound technical judgment, new venture opportunities that meet business objectives.
Supervise geophysical evaluations of licensing round and farm-in and farm-out opportunities.
Provide lead for integrating projects into the global Exploration processes.
Monitor project’s budgets.
Contact relevant Government Authorities, prepare motions and documentation necessary to obtain mandatory E&P project licenses.
Collaborate with colleagues from geology and geophysics, exploitation and production, HSE, drilling and finance business areas to deliver regional evaluations.
Make presentations to Peer Reviews, Senior Management, and relevant Government Authorities as appropriate.
Requirements:
5years+ of relevant industry experience (prior Shale Gas exploration a distinct advantage) in administration and budgeting activities related to Oil/Gas industry
Degree/MSc in Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Geophysics or Environmental Protection.
Experience in handling contract activities.
Excellent geotechnical skills.
Solid project management knowledge.
Good understanding of economic analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work within a collaborative environment and communicate at all levels and across business units.
Motivated, and a self-starter with a hard working approach.
Promote/undertake work activities in a safe manner.
