| Drafting Technician > Ottawa > IT > Information Technology > ID 11705 Description Our government client is seeking a drafting technician with the following: Experience: · Developing, preparing and editing drawings, plans, diagrams and layout from design sketches. · Planning to-dimensional space. · Assisting is the selection and application of colour, light, materials, electrical and mechanical elements. · Designing space and layout in a office building and performing the necessary calculations. · Operating computer ? assisted design (CAD). · Drawing workstations, office and common spaces. Essential Qualifications/Experiences/Skills Required: · Experience is developing / drawing plans for furniture systems. · Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. Education Required: Certificate, diploma, or degree in a specific relevant discipline from a post secondary Canadian institution accredited by the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CCTT) or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
