Need
Parsons is seeking a Director of Government Security to strategically align internal security needs with the changing market of our customers security policies and implementation. The Director will be responsible for PARSONS security and those at sensitive project that operate under NISP, DCIDs, ICD and SCI guidelines. The successful candidate will be able to leverage their well established working relationships with DoD and IC customers to help Parsons grow its security posture. The candidate will collaborate with and support Executive leadership team members in the execution of the mission of this business unit including interpreting policies, and developing and implementing security plans and procedures. The Director will support a rapidly expanding Federal services organization of over 4,000 employees and a staff of approximately 25 Field Security Officers and Contractor Special Security Officers. Will also be an integral part of facilitating a smooth transition of Sparta's strong intelligence and security expertise with Parsons existing cleared organization. The position is based in the Washington DC Metro area.

Qualifications:

• 20 years of experience of industrial security experience including security program management of SCI and COMSEC programs.
• Proficiency in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, Director of Central Intelligence Directives and Intelligence Community Directives associated with both collateral and SCI security programs.
• Familiarity with all facets of the government security profile.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
