.:: Essential Job Duties: Performs comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance on assigned electronic equipment. Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing complex electronic equipment. Utilize complex test equipment such as digital multimeters, signal generators, oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Reads, interprets, and/or develops complex schematics, parts/wire diagrams, engineering notes/memos, established test instructions/procedures, work orders and customer specifications to determine test equipment requirements. Perform functional, operational, and environmental tests to evaluate and repair major equipments, assemblies and subassemblies. Analyzes and interprets test data to determine if within appropriate specifications. Maintains files and records to document and support the maintenance effort. Apprises the Senior Technician of equipment status and any on-going logistics efforts. Analysis of technical problems to determine the locations and density of circuitry, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes. Supports and repairs Group I equipment including RF digital/analog requirements. As well as equipment at EXCON, the two remote sites and on Group II equipment. Operate the player equipment test set and ancillary relay radio test equipment.

.:: Education/Experience Requirements: Two years college or five years experience in electronics technology. Four years experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware and component problems. Maintenance experience may be in specialized categories such as RF/Microwave, digital communications, computer/LAN equipment and software program or audio/visual equipment. Experience and/or education may be substituted for above requirements if deemed appropriate. Requires the ability to lift 75 pounds. Require proof to the right to work in Canada.
