We currently have an exciting opportunity with our Applied Fluids Technology Division in Minneapolis, MN for a Design Drafter.
Job Purpose:
This position provides computer-aided design (CAD) and detail drafting support to new product development and standard product support engineering activities. This position involves producing detailed drawings and simple layouts.
Essential Duties:
CAD design & documentation
o Participate in design of new products in cooperation with a design team consisting of engineers, other designers, and lab technicians. o Produce CAD models/detail drawings of new products. o Revise and redraw as required, production drawings of existing standard products. o Use and apply Graco drafting standards. o Complete ECOs by utilizing PDM and other tools.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Position Requirements:
o Two-year technical degree or equivalent o Thorough knowledge of mechanical design drafting practices. o Capable of using and applying Graco drafting standards.
