Job Description: Division Description: The Mobile Communication Group (MCG) - Operation Test Engineering is a multidisciplinary advanced wireless technology test development center with a comprehensive focus on WiFi, BT, NFC, and GPS. This test development center is chartered by creating core enabling technologies, architecting & implementing and supporting high volume manufacturing (HVM) test systems, and developing test software applications and test database.
Responsibilities/Expectations: We are looking for highly motivated team oriented software engineer with excellent web/database programming skills to create new and compelling applications on industry standard platforms for manufacturing test data collection, database conversion, data processing for analysis, and content management. The engineer will be part of a manufacturing and test development environment. An emphasis will be placed on improving, developing and implementing new applications.
Qualifications Knowledge Skills: Excellent database programming skills and web services technologies (content delivery via web server, etc.). •At least a B.S. degree in Computer Science •Excellent programming skills - Visual C# and C++(preferred) •Working knowledge of and SQL database technologies. •Client and server database applications for Windows OS. •A passion for creating and implementing new applications in a team environment •Background or theoretical knowledge of statistics process control •Mobile platform programming experience Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have a BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, or a similar engineering or science degree from an accredited college or university.
