Engine Center is seeking an energetic & self motivated individual to help transform assembly and test operations through the use of Lean Manufacturing strategies.
Manufacturing engineering experience and system level thinking are the backbone of this position that will use the following tools to formulate lean strategies and drive cost reduction activities:
- Value Stream Mapping
- Standard Work
- 3P
- Setup Reduction
- Kaizen
- QCPC
- Root Cause Investigations
- Earned Value Management System
Significant interaction with the hourly work force, tool designers, Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, Test Engineering and Integrated Product Teams are typical of the position as well. Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ACE tools are necessary in order to foster continual process improvement for the Assembly and Test processes.
The incumbent will play a key role in support and implementation of projects that drive improvements in areas of part quality, product cost and overall operations efficiency.
This position will be responsible for coordinating and/or managing project plan activities through Engine Center Optimization standard work.
