Title Coor-Trim Pack - 2nd shift
Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Sumter, SC has an opening for a Production Coordinator in Fabrication Trim Pack on 2nd shift.
This position will assist the fabrication Supervisor in coordinating production schedules, tam resources and raw material availability to ensure finished parts of perfect quality are manufactured and delivered to customers within the required cycle time. They will also play a key role in identifying process improvement opportunities and working with teams to implement changes as required. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem solving skills with individuals and groups to facilitate process improvements within teams. Candidate must comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Keep assigned work-area clean, organized, and orderly per 5S standards.
Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements **The following minimum requirements must be obtained at the time of application:
High School diploma or G.E.D; Minimum workkey scores: Applied Mathematics-5, Reading for Information-4, Locating Information-4, Teamwork-4, Observation-4.
Minimum of three years experience in manufacturing environment involving recent experience (within the last 18 months) in the manufacturing processes for electrical distribution equipment. A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, experience with various tools (example: measuring tape, work instructions, and fork truck), and computer literacy is required. Ability to retrieve and obtain pertinent information from various documents available in work environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem solving skills with individuals and groups to facilitate process improvements within d record of job performance, safety, and attendance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop; squat; reach to or below shoulder level; lift; carry; push; pull; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to climb; and reach above shoulder level. The employee is regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception. The employee is frequently required to use color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to listen and regularly required to talk.
