Job Description: URS is currently seeking a Consulting Packaging Engineer in our St. Louis, MO location.
Typical Responsibilities include:
-Advanced level of engineering understanding within the mechanical discipline and a full understanding of other disciplines. -Proven expertise in plant operations, mechanical design and project implementation. -Capable of developing scope definition, familiar with work sequence, general content and methods used to develop specifications. -Prepares and executes Engineering Execution Plans and ensure that all necessary and appropriate client requirements, procedures and standards are incorporated. -Develops plan to support procurement of all engineered items with Project Materials Manager. -Works with materials management and construction to develop subcontract and work package description that are consistent with the contracting plan of the project. -Assures proper documentation of meetings, agreements, conversations, etc. that affect the conduct of the project. -Coordinates client's engineering comments, approvals and requests with the functional activities of all disciplines. -Coordinates independent engineering design reviews by discipline engineering management, ensures quality, conformance with conceptual design and completeness of engineering task.
