Due to an advance in our business we are seeking the employ of a talented Voice Data Design Engineer (Electrical). As a Voice Data Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing voice/video/data distribution systems for buildings. Additionally, you will be responsible for the complete performance of construction administration tasks by processing drawings, RFI's, and site visits during the construction phase. The Engineer I works under the direct supervision of the Project Engineer on specific assignments in the design and production of the firm's projects and is accountable for small projects assigned and specific discipline designer activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts between disciplines and work as a team player. You will report to the Senior Engineer or Senior Project Engineer as assigned by the Division Director and may at times have a dual reporting line to a Project Engineer. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, EI or PE preferred, and at least 3 years experience in the engineering and design of voice/data/data distribution systems for commercial, institutional, governmental, and healthcare facilities. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
