.:: Essential Job Duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to software prototyping and development of 3D models for computer gaming and simulations within the Microsoft Windows and Linux family of operating systems. This would include modifying existing software and developing special-purpose software components to ensure communication and integrity between military simulations and command and control systems. Employee will develop software programs for integration efforts and Army Experiments in a pure object oriented environment. Employee will perform development in at least two of the following languages or applications: C++, MFC, Visual Basic, XML, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Objective 2 and basic scripting languages. Employee will also be responsible for analyzing code, testing software, and developing software test documentation and reports.
.:: Mental/Physical Requirements: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be capable to lift and move up to 60 pounds. Travel is required.
.:: Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university. Five years experience as a computer programmer with ability to employ the following software applications: Adobe Creative Suite 3+, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Sony Acid Pro (or equivalent) and have working knowledge or education in Storyboarding, Video Concept Design, Video Production, Video Post-Production, Audio Production, DVD Authoring & Mastering. Basic knowledge of 3D Animation is preferred. CompTIA Security + cert required.
