Command Post System Advisor
Title: Command Post System Advisor Location: California-Camp Pendleton L-3 Communications is seeking a full-time Command Post Systems Advisor at Camp Pendleton, CA. Candidate will provide onsite Command and Control systems support to the I MEF commands located Camp Pendleton, CA and surrounding area. Candidate must be able to travel/deploy with USMC forces in support of contingencies, actual declared hostilities, exercises, and as the customer deems necessary. Travel could extend to Iraq, Afghanistan and most Pacific rim countries in support of Joint/Marine exercises and deployments. Ship riding in support of Marine units is also a possibility for short port will be provided for current and future Marine C4I systems to include GCCS/IOS servers, C2PC/JTCW and GCCS clients, AFATDS, BFT (FBCB2, MTX, MDACT, and DDACT). A thorough knowledge of Marine Corps tactics and unit composition is an important asset for this position. An understanding of networking, Information Assurance, MOSS, UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Candidate should have good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Microsoft OS', networking, and Marine communications systems. Addition certifications in A , Networking , and Security preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience is required (4 years w/undergraduate degree) as well as Level II IA Workforce Improvement Certification. Experience must include a combination of C2PC, TCO/IOS(v)1, IAS, IOW/JTCW, GCCS, D-DACT, M-DACT, FBCB2/BFT. Solaris/Windows SysAdmin Experience recommended. Familiarity with tactical communications systems such as EPLRS and SINCGARS is beneficial. Candidate will be subject to a security investigation and must be able to meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret but prefer Top Secret clearance issued by the U.S. Government.
