Job Description
This position is responsible for the systematic process of surveying & categorizing all current forms, following a process of standardization and digitalization of prioritized forms, understanding and meeting clinical needs for forms development until the ECIS vision is realized. The position also facilitates the implementation of standardized/digitalized forms, further needed revisions of those forms as well as the management, facilitation, coordination, and ongoing evaluation of Intermountain clinical forms. The position works collaboratively with multiple regions, hospitals, departments, clinical programs and services and representative individuals to standardize Intermountain clinical forms. This position is accountable for improving selected documents by demonstrating expertise in clinical practice, education, consultation, coordination, communication and utilization of research.
This position will require the ability to spend significant amount of travel time at different Intermountain Facilities (50%-60%).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree plus one of the following: a) Master's Degree and two or more years experience working on technical and complex projects; or b) five or more years work experience in a health care or business setting working on technical and complex projects; Intermountain verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment
Writing and literature review skills and demonstrated leadership, education, and/or program planning experience
Proven record of accomplishment in management of complex organizational projects, excellent team leadership, team participation, verbal and written communication skills and data analysis skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative highly-engaged team and demonstrate an enthusiasm for solving problems and improving processes
Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills; including word processing
Ability to spend significant amount of travel time at different Intermountain Facilities (50%-60%)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, another clinical discipline or Information systems
Advanced technical skills in data analysis: spreadsheets, databases, statistical software, etc, with an ability to deliver concrete results with an attention to detail
Prior experience in health care
Advanced knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis techniques
Formal training or education in process improvement, change management, or project management
Utilization of electronic repositories
