Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma and Associate's Degree or Technical Institute Certificate (2 yr program minimum).
Six years of experience in civil design for industrial and government projects.
Must be knowledgeable in basic construction practices for civil/structural fieldwork and have the ability to generate preliminary drawings for engineers and leads for further development.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads and Microsoft Office. Job Description: Microstation and AutoCAD civil designer to support engineering staff.
Successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks to include fieldwork and data collection; complete plans, profiles and drawings for highway, rail, earthwork, site grading and drainage projects; and develop and maintain well organized and labeled hard copy and electronic files for all work.
