Chemical Reactor Operator/Blender
The position of reactor operator is responsible for the manufacturing of various chemical products according to specific recipes. The operator must load the chemical reactors with the designated chemicals in the proper order as dictated by the standard operating procedure for that product. The operator must follow specific heating/cooling profiles while monitoring pressures, weights, by product collection, and various support equipment. The operator must be familiar with pumps, electrical controls, pressure/temperature recorders, valves, plc controls, and various types of chemicals. The operator must operate the reactors in a safe manner and understand all associated processes to handle any equipment upset or failure.
Requirements:
- Shift work required - Must be able to work hours exceeding 50 hours per week - Must be able to frequently lift/carry objects over 50 lbs. - Must be able to move containers over 100 lbs. when necessary
