We are one of only a dozen or so companies in the country that chrome plates onto plastic and to our knowledge the only company in the country that plates onto both metal and plastic.

We serve a broad mix of markets including OEM and aftermarket for automotive, large appliance, small appliance, heavy truck, medical, plumbing, fasteners and closures, security, and others.

Growth has created the need for additional process engineers to participate in the control and improvement of our plating systems. We operate large state of the art computer controlled automatic plating lines and ancillary equipment.

Position: Process Engineer - salaried, full time permanent - day shift.

Preferred Credentials:
. BS Chemical Engineering or related technical degree.
. Some work experience in a technical position - the more experience and the more closely related to chemical processes the higher the pay structure will be. Electro plating experience, while certainly beneficial, is not required - we will teach electroplating principals and methods.
. Stable personal life.

Duties:
. Hands on monitoring of plating chemistries.
. Interface with quality assurance and production personnel to assure highest quality production.
. Design and participate in design of plating tooling and plating process equipment.
. Trouble shoot plating problems using a variety of techniques including microscopic photo analysis, x ray examination, wet chemistry analysis, design of experiments, and others.
. Evaluate and implement methods for continuous improvement of electroplating processes.
. Evaluate and oversee preventive maintenance of all process related equipment.
