Adecco Engineering & Technical is looking for a Chemical Process Engineer to work a 3-6 month contract position for our client, GE Healthcare, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Join a world-class CT Detector Team, building the world's best and highest technology products. Lead the improvement and development of processes and equipment used to manufacture high purity, high performance ceramic assemblies. Key activities will be to: translate engineering requirements to manufacturing process specifications; define and specify manufacturing equipment, demonstrate and validate the performance of the manufacturing processes and equipment; establish in-process measurement and quality control methods. Utilize Six Sigma methodology to evaluate or analyze manufacturing process capability for the implementation of highly stable, robust solutions. Leverage state of the art production technology and equipment to implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications/Requirements: BS in Chemical Engineering with 2 or more years of experience Experience with manufacturing process definition Demonstrated technical leadership and team work skills Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Strong problem solving skills as demonstrated with analytical and statistical toolsets Desired: Experience with ceramic materials processing Experience with high purity processing techniques Demonstrated ability to manage, interpret and drive tasks and ability to act independently and make sound judgment alone when needed Experience of quality control and continuous process monitoring Experience working with external suppliers Experience with designing, specifying or operating test systems/instrumentation Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certified
