Job Title: CAD Technician II - term appointment State: South Carolina

Description: This position is not to exceed 1 year and 1 day.
POSITION PURPOSE: Creates 3D Models in Solidworks which represent the configuration of IED resistant trucks. Models will be used for Writers, parts for Provisioning, parts for Illustrations and Validation of configurations for contracts. Travel is sometimes required to retrieve data and photo-document configurations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: . Maintain a comprehensive 3D Model library with metadata. . Strong Solidworks skills . Strong drafting skills, with experience in creating Isometrics. . Photography will be required for modeling parts . A knowledge of Mechanical Procedures and an understanding of Mechanical Configurations
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS: . College degree either Bachelors or Associates. In lieu of a degree 6 years of experience in graphics and CAD experience . Able to work independently. Self motivated individual and must be able to effectively balance a large work load. . Efficient with Microsoft desktop applications (i.e.; Excel, Word, or Power Point) . Solidworks modeling experience with a certification in Solidworks (CSWA) is preferred. . Strong interest in Mechanical Procedures and Configurations . Able to work quickly and meet tough deadlines.
