CTC is seeking a qualified CAD Specialist II to support a contract within the DoD within the Ft Meade, MD area. The qualified candidate will be responsible for solid model and drawing creation of systems of systems to include architectures, software and hardware . Application are very broad. Candidate will interact directly with design engineers to develop models and will be expected to provide all details required for both internal and external development. Candidate must be able to work in a highly team oriented environment and provide opinions and recommendations to design and development approaches that will increase efficiency of the process. The selected individual shall have at least five (5) years experience in a related position, shall have at least two (2) years experience with a computer-aided drafting system (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio) and associated equipment (e.g., plotters), and at least two (2) years experience in applying DoD and military specifications and standards governing hardware, particularly as applicable to engineering drawings and technical data.
The selected applicant will have at least two (2) years experience developing drawing packages that will minimally contain cabinet assemblies, chassis assemblies, associated electrical and mechanical documentation for the system components providing for variations in configuration, will have at least two (2) years experience in preparing Engineering Level II drawings from sketches, redlines, etc., and at least one (1) year of direct experience with an Intelligence Community or Signals Intelligence activity is desired. An active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required for this position.
