This position reports to the Stern Drive Engineering Manager through the Team Leader for Bravo and Pod drives. In this role, the successful candidate will focus on assisting in the development of new product designs and current product improvements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to drive the execution of the following: . Mechanical component design . Development of assembly drawings/models
Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: . Proficient in Pro/Engineer Wildfire (alternative solid modeling experience considered) Component design and development of: . Metallic and non-metallic components (castings, plastic moldings, elastomeric mounts) . Rotating equipment (gear, shaft and bearing systems) . Hydraulic systems (steering, trim and tilt systems) . Working knowledge of Teamcenter Unified Applications (preferred)
Education Requirements: . Technology degree with emphasis in mechanical design . 0 - 5 yrs experience or equivalent
