Position Summary In the role of the CAD Designer for the engine peripherals group, you will focus on assisting in the creation of new product designs and current product improvements for Intake, Fuel and Exhaust Systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to drive the execution of the following: . Mechanical component design . Creating drawings and specifications . Working with suppliers on component design . Work with other design areas verifying clearances/interferences
Job Requirements: Required Qualifications . Proficient in Pro/Engineer Wildfire solid modeling and drawing creation (alternative solid modeling experience considered) . Proficient in Pro-E surfacing . Proficient in GD&T . Working knowledge with Pro-E drawing package . Working knowledge of Teamcenter Unified Applications . Proficient in Large Assembly Management Techniques
Component design and development of: . Metallic and non-metallic components (castings, plastic moldings, elastomeric mounts) . Proficient in creating Complex muli-section models
Education Requirements: . Technology degree with emphasis in mechanical design . 3-5 yrs experience or equivalent
