Position Summary In this role, the successful candidate will focus on assisting in the creation of new product designs and current product improvements for the base engine design group.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to drive the execution of the following: . Mechanical component design . Creation of component drawings/models/specifications . Work with suppliers on manufacturing of component designs. . Work with other design areas verifying clearances/interferences
Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: . Proficient in Pro/Engineer Wildfire solid modeling and drawing creation (alternative solid modeling experience considered) Component design and development of: . Metallic and non-metallic components (castings, forgings, plastic moldings) . Basic internal combustion engine knowledge . Working knowledge of Teamcenter Unified Applications (preferred) . Proficient in GD&T
Education Requirements: . Technology degree with emphasis in mechanical design . 0 - 10 yrs experience or equivalent
