Description Business Name: Bell Helicopter Textron Business Intelligence Solution Architect Business Intelligence professional providing project and technical oversight to the Business Intelligence Solution Center (BISC) for Bell Helicopter. Role Responsibilities · Gather and assist in the prioritization of business requirements in all areas of the BISC. · Implement the data warehousing and reporting strategy established by the BISC team, extending to new subject areas pursuant to the goals of the Business Systems Modernization (BSM) project team and Bell IT. · Evaluate team staffing levels and personnel distribution and make recommendations; manage offshore resource usage and find ways to leverage offshore talent to augment team output. · Liaison BISC team with other areas of Bell IT, as they relate to reporting and analytics. · Serve as Business Intelligence subject matter expert on Bell Architecture Review Board (ARB). · Continue to evaluate tool selection and emerging technologies in the area of Business Intelligence. · Ensure all standards for documentation, version control, production control and security are followed by BISC team. Requirements: · 10+ years experience as a Business Intelligence professional with a solid understanding of dimensional data modeling, data warehousing, ETL concepts and tools, incremental data loads, relational databases, semantic layers and reporting tools. · 5+ years hand’s-on expertise in any combination of these is essential, 10+ years preferred. Team leadership or project management experience a plus. · Six Sigma certification a plus. · Hand’s-on experience with SAP/Business Objects tools is a huge plus. · DBA skill sets are a plus. · CS, MIS or Mathematics Bachelor's degree or related technical degree is strongly preferred, but relevant recent work experience will substitute This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms regulations (ITAR).
