Job Description
Help credit union members meet their financial goals and objectives by preparing and delivering analysis to evaluate appropriate investment, insurance, and credit union solutions. Establishing a service level commitment consisting of periodic reviews is an essential part of the BCU Investment Advisors member experience. Be the educational resource to enhance financial awareness and well being for BCU members and the corporations that BCU represents.
This position will focus on markets that consists of substantial corporations that partner with BCU.
• • Present a professional image and cultivate strong working relationship with credit union staff, members, and other key people involved in the credit union and their corporate partners.
• Follow BCU Investment Advisors process and procedures
• Follow established insurance and investment compliance guidelines per CUSO Financial Services, LLC.
• Follow established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct according to the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and integrity.
• Complete all securities and insurance continuing education in a timely manner to maintain licenses/designations.
• Attend all required training, informational meetings scheduled by Vice President, Director, and credit union.
• Build strategic alliances with CPA's and attorneys to provide comprehensive education and planning for BCU members and corporate partners.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Team Leader - Interest in developing own skill set and as well as team.
Job Requirements
• 4 Year College Degree
• CFP, CFA designation or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Advisor or Financial Advisory team.
• Life/Health Insurance
• FINRA Registration: Series 7, 63, 65, or 66
• Effective communicator/presenter with willingness to conduct presentations and seminars.
