The candidate selected for this position must have the ability to work independently and follow-through on projects and tasks with limited assistance from senior leadership. Candidate will have excellent time management, expert computer application skills, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Responsibilities:
Assistant (general management) will perform a number of confidential administrative duties for one or more members of AT&T AdWorks' Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Key components of the position include interacting with executives, sales directors, sales managers, external customers, and vendors.
Scheduling meetings and appointments, planning events and making travel arrangements
Generating documents, correspondence, presentations, and reports using a variety of computer software.
Prioritizing assignments and tasks under general direction and performing a variety of administrative duties such as processing bills, vouchers, expenses, and payroll.
Coordinating requests for workspace, service, and office equipment
Organizing programs such as charitable campaigns, employee recognition and records retention
Providing guidance to others in the organization regarding administrative practices.
Safeguarding sensitive, confidential and proprietary information.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Three or more years experience in general management support and administration
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Previous experience as an Assistant (General Management) or Assistant (Senior Management)
Proven organizational skills and multi-tasking capability
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to interact and work well with people in a team environment
Effective time management skills and detail orientation
Desired Qualifications
Experience with eLink payroll, and Online Travel Services
Experience with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information requiring tact and diplomacy
Advanced software skills
Prior work experience supporting a sales environment
