We are looking for the very best to help create our tomorrow.
Position Overview
Welcome to the job of your dreams. We're looking for a passionate hockey player that eats, sleeps and breathes this game. We're looking for someone with a sense of wonderment that will be dedicated to improving the game we love, ask what's next then help drive the team to get there. We want you to test new gear, spend time in the rinks, and develop relationships with the game's biggest influencers both globally and locally. If you can understand the hearts and minds of the 15yr old hockey crazed kid, and bring meaningful insights to the development of new ground breaking products than you have a chance of making this team.
Essential Job Functions:
-Understand the hearts and minds of the 15 yr old hockey crazed kid and what is meaningful to them both on and off the ice
-Help provide market awareness and trends to support product direction. Must have a great sense of what trends to capitalize on as well as recognize opportunities to set new trends.
-Must be fully engaged with our social media. Frequent trips to retail and the rinks. Be involved in the game and understand how to recognize potential trends before they happen
-Constant communication with our rep force to stay in constant touch with dealer feedback as well as provide assistance and sales support
-Provide input and help the brand team create comprehensive go to market strategies to drive demand and create buzz around key launches.
-Work with Ambassador Program to coral information and stories, manage sample development and delivery.
-Update and distribute line plan and forecasting documents. Maintain competitive analysis of all stick categories to help educate others on the landscape and support line direction. Responsible to interact with sales on SMU product development
-Support the creation of educational, interesting presentations for sales meetings, road shows, and other events with internal and external customers. Support trade shows as needed.
-Test new products and provide an insiders point of view on performance, durability and market relevance.
-Must have the ability to travel
Eduction and Training:
-BA or equivalent -A life spent in and around the game, retail experience a plus. -Product knowledge of hockey equipment in the market past and present -Computer skills - proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel an absolute must. -Drawing and photo programs like Photoshop, Corel draw, Adobe Illustrator, all a plus
