Role and Responsibilities The SecureView team is looking for a seasoned developer to help drive the direction and development of a virtualization desktop appliance focused on protecting sensitive data.
The team cooperates with Citrix and US Government customers to build a multi-level security (MLS) desktop, providing strong isolation features between domains and networks.
Come work with a team of avid security professionals that leverage bleeding edge virtualization and trusted computing technologies to deliver a user-friendly workstation. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 3 – 5 years experience in related field. Preferred Skills · High level of motivation; self-starter; results driven · Extensive experience in Linux development. You have written multi-file, library based code, with real conf and make files, and may have even tracked down a linker error. · Experience using revision control where you check in consistently, often with meaningful comments. You have used revert, merge, and can say with confidence that the last backport you did probably even works, most of the time. · Mastery of system configuration. You are comfortable hacking around /etc/, /proc/, /sys/, /dev/, etc. · Experience writing and using unit tests. · Commitment to contributing to the docs throughout development. · Comfortable compiling a kernel from the mainline. You have had to patch a mainline kernel to get your hardware to work. You have had to mod the patch to get it to apply to the kernel rev you want. You posted helpful information to a forum, blog, listserv, etc. · Solid understanding of networking fundamentals. You are comfortable using ping, nmap, tcpdump, iptables, and google. · Passion for trustworthy computing. You know what a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is, what gets stored in it, and what does not. You also know that TXT is not just a file extension. · Knowing that Xen is not just a state of mind. Additional Notes · Must be able to work in a team environment. · Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
