Major Job Duties Include: Instrumentation, lab support and the following measurements and associated data evaluation/reporting: Load- and Temperature- collectives, Vibration/component- acceleration, Bearing-load and drive torque, Low-pressure system performance, System and component temperatures. This comprises of Pass Car/Light Duty, Medium Duty, Commercial Vehicle, and Large Engine applications, both for fuel- injection and after-treatment systems. Position incorporates hands-on lab/engine/vehicle work both at Bosch and at customer location.
Minimum Job Requirements Include: *BS - Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. *Up to 5 yrs. of professional vehicle experience. *Must have test Lab and/or vehicle experience or equivalent test lab and/or vehicle Co-op or internship. *Emphasis on team work, good communication skills, readiness to travel on test trips to customer facility, and adaptability to work in a truly international company.
Preferred: *MS - Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. *2 yrs. diesel systems and/or application experience. *Experience with common rail fuel systems & exposure to basic engine testing work; experience in working with Bosch fuel injection systems helpful.
